Anyone can help me with this Browning as I have no knowledge of this little pistol.

"Up for sale is a 1959 Browning 6mm/35 cal Pocket pistol. Comes with 1 factory mag. The gun is in good shape for the age. Appx 90% of the bluing is still good."

Is the price correct for the condition?

The Baby Browning is not a bad small pistol. The caliber is 6.35mm, which is called .25 ACP in the U.S.

A top price would be around $450; in used condition as described, maybe $250-300.

If you do buy one, do NOT disassemble it beyond field stripping; they come apart easy and go together hard.

Slightly off topic, but I recently bought a Colt 1908 that dates from 1919. It is in very good shape and while it was just a "want" gun, I find I carry it a lot and it is a great little shooter.

The Baby Browning is, I believe damy near the same design. If you buy this gun, I think you will enjoy it.

No, the Baby Browning (the pistol under discussion) is a whole different design from the Colt Vest Pocket. The Baby Browning was designed around 1935 to replace the older FN Model 1906, which was almost identical to the Colt VP. The older pistol is sometimes called the Baby Browning, but AFAIK that term is correctly applied to the later pistol.

Ok.... so it was an updated design similar to the Coltop Vest Pocket? Wiki isn't real clear either.

No, the "Baby" is s a unique design introduced in the early 30s, and was designed in large part (I believe) by Saive. The only copy of it that I am aware of is the Bauer .25 in stainless steel. PSP is/was making them for FN as a licensed copy.

The FN 1905 and Colt 1908 were strictly Browning designs, and have partial parts interchangeability.
