Browning micro in 260 remington

Saw a really nice used example for around $600. Is that a fair price?
Would really like some feedback on the .260 round, never shot one but I understand that recoil is manageable and have read it's an excellent long range cartridge. I have an Leopold 4.5 x 14 scope that's looking for a new partner.

For a couple of years I hunted with a Ruger Compact in 260, which is probably close to your Micro. The gun was great and so was the caliber. I eventually sold the rifle and got another in 260 with a 20 inch barrel.

After considerable use of the caliber, it seems to be about as effective as my 270, if you shoot the 120 gr bullets. The 100 gr bullets work fine too, but don't seem to put down deer and hogs quite as quickly. But I never lost anything hit with the smaller bullet.

The only time I handled a Browning Micro, I was very impressed with the quality of the rifle.
