Browning HP Capitan

I am thinking about buying a HP Capitan 9mm pistol - specifically because I think they are pretty and have a nostalgic look about them.

Anyone have an opinion on this pistol. Are those adjustable sights for real?

Already have a Glock(s)& MK9 for PD.

The El Capitan sights are not adjustable for windage, only elevation. Windage would be done by drifting the front sight. They're really not too practical in my opinion, but kind of neat in their own way. Best.

Yes, the main reason for the Captain is the look of the classic browning design. The sights are the original style for the Browning. A classic firearm. Yes the sights are more cool and unique then really functional but that was the Hi-power I always wanted and recently picked one up for, what I consider a great deal, and love it. Hipowers are great guns and the captain is the coolest of them all. Unfortunately it tends to be higher priced than the others but if a good deal comes along go for it.

i recently purchased a NIB Capitan as I wanted a bright blued Hi Power, with wooden grips, in 9mm. This was the only one I found. After firing 300 rounds through it, I love it! I also have a Practical with a C&S trigger, and as a shooter I prefer the Capitan which is stock w/o the mag safety. As far as looks, i really agree that it looks both nostalgic, and cool!
