browning HIpower sales in CA

I was wondering am I out of luck in geting one of these guns in CA? I am have been looking at diffrent gun shops and i cant find one. i would like to get one. All i am seeing are the FEG clones,how do thoes compare? (probley a dumb question) hope you guys can help.

While I have never handled the FEG clone, I have heard very good comments about these copies, I have also handled the Arcus HP clone and heard pretty good things about them as well.

My FEG clone has beautiful polished blue finish like guns used to have, poor sights, and works like the energizer bunny. Shoots better then my HP, but is a little looser then the HP. Replaced the rear sight and filed the front and got it to shoot to point of aim. Has a nice trigger, although a little on the heavy side, that took a little work to smooth out. For $200, I am happy.

FN is supposed to be importing both the Single Action and the new Double Action Hi-Powers in the MKIII configuration late this year. I'd wait it out. Or go to a gun show and get a post war hi-power for about 350 - 400 bucks.
