L Lavan New member Nov 8, 2001 #1 I had a very good trigger job done on my BHP. Really like it. The hammer spring is still about 347 tons though. Does the hammer play any part in the delay of the slide or is it just strong for the hulluvit?

J johnwill New member Nov 8, 2001 #2 The hammer does play a role in slowing the slide, and lightening the spring can also cause ignition problems with harder primers.
