Can anyone please provide a sorce online for checking a manufacture date on a Browning Hi-power..........it is an older Hi-power with matching military style holster, but I believe the Hi-power to not be military issue.

Seriously, if you will post the serial number here (using "X"'s for the last couple of digits) one of us will be able to date it for you.
That serial number would be a pre-WWII Browning. It should have the old type extractor, a one piece barrel, a tangent sight and a stock cut. It will also have the old type pin that holds the sear bar.
