Can anyone tell me the meaning of T1B3 in the serial number on my Browning Citori. I have looked on the Browning Website but it doesn't give the T1B3 listing. Serial Number is 01579PT1B3

This may help. http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/ctgy/c-015-6 I believe the PT means it was manufactured in 1986.

A couple of posts I found around indicate that a 1B3 on the end is a Golden Clay Special, but if no one else here knows for certain I would call Browning.
