browning buckmark or brwning 1911?

It all depends on your finances. If you can only own one at the present than I would recommend the buckmark. This allows you to hone your skills and practice more frequently while retaining all your muscle memory and hand and eye coordination for pennies on the dollar.

If you do not have a gun for home defense or self defense than I would recommend the 1911.
 
My interpretation of the OP is that he is comparing the Buckmark, and the 1911-22. Both 22 rimfire handguns so the 1911 would have no HD advantage. The Browning rimfire version of the 1911 is about 3/4 size compared to a centerfire 1911. Either would be a good plinker, practice firearm, but the Buckmark might be a little more accurate.
