Browning Buckmark early firing pin

Hi Folks,
I'm a first timer on this forum and have an issue with an early model Buckmark
.22. The firing pin has broken and Browning in unable to supply their part number B5152657. They offered to sell me a new style slide and related parts which I did buy. Unfortunately, the new stainless slide doesn't match the old stainless barrel and this is my wife's pistol. She is not happy. I've tried EBay and Google but no one seems to have this part.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks for your help.

Have you tried Brownells? They may have the part you need.

Have you considered buying your wife a new gun?

I feel your pain. There was a glitch in the barrel on the Wife's causing the top piece and firing bolt to crack. We get her's back and the top piece cracks on mine (evidently from me tightening the screws to tightly - what is that plastic???)

I assume you are talking about the rear sight base. That is plastic and a lot of people throw the thing away and get an aluminum base from Midway.

That base has an integrated rear sight and you can put a small holo sight on it.

I have done that to two Buckmarks. Then all you need is ammo:D
