I bought a base model with a 34" barrel. I think it's a smooth shooter and has good handling and a nice rib. The only problem that I had was a trigger spring broke within a year in the middle of a trap set. It was sent to Browning and was taken care of quickly for free and I have no complaints. One of the best shooters I know has one with an adjustable buttplate. I wish the forend had a little bit more wood like the older models from Belgium, but they don't have the invector plus and backboring. It can definitely reach out a long way with the 34" barrel & sights, so I find myself a little more able to be patient with my shots as opposed to some of the other shooters who are much quicker to shoot. I don't mind not having the porting, and because the action took a while to start to break in, I found that resting it between shots helps to prevent arm fatigue.
