Fellow shooters:
I can't believe it. I am STILL waiting for an extractor for my .22 auto rifle. Since AUGUST!! What is wrong with Browning? I even wrote to Belgium and they said the parts would be available very soon. That was in October I think! Brownell's or Midwest doesn't have em. I called Browning recently again and they said March or by June maybe. What S----Y customer service!! :barf:
Does anybody out there have a spare they would be willing to part with. Unbelieveable! Since August. They said they had trouble with the shipping by boat from Japan. I told them they could put a thousand of them in a shoebox and send them air post. I said that it wasn't like shipping a turbine for an oil tanker or something. Maybe they're mad! :D Thanks for letting me vent!

Off hand I don't know what they look like but if it's anything like my old Challenger you could make one easy enough !!!

I have no idea why you are having problems getting an extractor. My dealings with Browning have been nothing other than outstanding. I returned a pistol where a buddy did a trigger job and it went south after about 5,000 rounds. I fully expected to pay for repairs but there was no charge and the trigger is about as good as it gets, at a crisp 2 pounds. I had also included a letter explaining the pistol was for target work and not used in the field, that might have helped.

Thanks for the comebacks. The extractor is a little complicated to make.
It is not just a hook type, but requires machining or investment casting. I know I could never make one, but I suppose witha Unimat or the like with a milling attachment it could be done. Then there is the matter of heat treatment.

I ordered $40 worth of parts for the rifle at the time just to make it worthwhile to them You guessed it: I got everything but the extractor which is all I really needed! Guess I will just shoot my 63. :)
