Browning BL-22 Centennial found

Hi all. I have found a Centennial model in a LGS. Can't find any info on them or value. Made in 89 I am assuming. Ideas?

I have one from the late '60s. It was made by Miroku. People talk about their Marlin 39s being good shooters. I have never seen a Marlin that shoots as good as a BL22.

Value is going to depend on whether it is a shooter (and condition) or whether it is NIB. You will probably need to provide more info, but if you think it is close to a reasonable price, I'd pick it up. They are great shooters.

Never seen nor heard of a BL-22 Centennial model. I have one of the BL-22 Grade II rifles that I really like. How is the Centennial different?

I never heard of a Centennial Model BL-22, either - the "centennial" of what ? (pics ?)

AFAIK, Browning only ever made the standard Grade I BL-22, the Grade II Bl-22, the Grade II Octagon Bl-22 & the Grades I & II Classic Bl-22 (similar to the Grade I & II BL-22, but w/satin-finish stock).

Maybe I am wrong. There were 2 Brownings side by side and one said Centennial. I thought it was the BL-22. I saw and looked at them a month or two ago and then again the other day. Still being there it peaked my interest, but I did not get another look. They are closed today, but maybe I will stop by tomorrow for verification. Thanks everyone.
