A guy at work wants to buy one ,found a used one but great condition for $425.00. is this a good price? Also he dosen't know anything about the gun. Is it a good gun?

That's a pretty good buy, especially if it has more than one magazine with it. The BDM is a fine carry pistol, it's very flat and slim for a double-stack 9mm. It also has a selector switch on the side of the slide which lets you switch the trigger system from "Auto" (traditional DA/SA) to "Revolver" mode (double action only.) Interesting piece...I wouldn't mind finding one for a decent price at the Nashville show next weekend.
 
Not a bad deal. I think that with some checking around, a better deal might be available. Still the BDM is a good gun.
 
I've seen NIB BDMs go for around $370 to $400. Of course that was about a year ago. I would think you could find better prices on them.

I've seen the low $300's for this gun. Check gunsamerica. If any hicaps are involved, the price is great. A neat weapon.
