browning BAR

just bought a Browning BAR .270 caliber...Is this a good deer hunting rifle?
made in 1985, great condition...how much could I sell it for?

It's a very good deer rifle. A little heavy for toting around maybe, but a very good rifle.

Depending on condition, I dunno, $500 give or take some if you're not in a hurry.

One of these days my uncle is going to agree to sell me his very early .30-06 BAR. He's 73 and still hunts deer with it, so I guess it won't be this year.

Be aware of the fact that some states require at least a .30 caliber for hunting medium to large game. Some counties will not allow semi autos. There are also "shotgun only" counties. Check your local laws. Good luck with the rifle!
