Hi Folks!

I'm trying to figure out how to quickly distinguish the Browning "B-78" single shot that was made in the 1970 from the Browning "1885" that was made later.

Is it correct to say that ...

- The B-78 has _one_ visible pin on both sides of the receiver.

- The 1885 has _two_ visible pins on both sides of the receiver.

Correct?

Thanks!
Dave

The pins in the 1885 are really in there TIGHT !! Don't ask me how I know !

There are differences in the triggers but I don't know the details.
The 1885 is a great gun ,mine is in 45-70 .
