Browning Auto Rifle 22 cal recoil buffer

I'm trying to find a recoil buffer (see attached photo) for a Browning Semi-Automatic 22 cal rifle circa 1980. I've contact Browning and they stopped making them and don't have any old inventory. They referred me to two of their major service centers and no luck there either. I've made one out of stiff rubber that seem to work but would really like to get an original replacement. It is a sweet rifle and has been very good to me and my sons.
