Browning Auto 22 Dating?

Hi Folks!

I've picked up a Belgian-made Browning Auto 22 with serial number "T1xx".

It's a Long Rifle model, and it would appear to have been made in the span from 1956 to 1967. However, the serial number is missing the first digit that the Browning web site says should identify the exact year (http://www.browning.com/services/dategun/detail.asp?id=5).

Any ideas on narrowing the date down?

The list in the back of the Blue Book says:

1956-Mid 1961 "T" prefix for the Long Rifle guns and an "A" prefix for the shorts.

Mid-'61 the A changed to E prefix 5 digits or less.

Then in '61 they started with the 1T or 1A or 1E, 1962 with 2T or 2E, etc.

Looks like you have a very early gun.
