I have a HP that is shooting a little high and to the left. Also the trigger is very chirpy, what can i do to correct this problem? I can not change the sights because the captain modle has range adjustment and they are poor to sight. Is there any way i can make the trigger wider and smoother. Also the gun is very slow in rapid fire and it takes forever for the trigger to go back to fire the second round. I like the gun but if i am not as accurate as my sig 210 or my custom G19 i might give up on it soon. Also what do you recommend for range ammo. Help !

Your BHP will not be as accurate as a P210 unless you change out the barrel for a fitted BarSto and swap out the internals for C&S part, relocate the sear bar back 1/4" and get that 2.5 pound pull like the P210.

If you want a wider trigger, Cylinder and Slide makes a replacement that, when installed, also does away with the mag safety. This also gives the illusion of a lighter trigger pull.

thanks jeff
I am wanting to change the trigger "wide", springs, sears etc.. Is this something that I can do by myself. I may opt for a fitted barsto in the future, but for now I just want a smoother trigger pull.

C&S sells all the internals and I have most of them on all my BHP'S. The reduced ring hammer does away with hammer bite for me without extending the grip tang (he has a new skeletonized hammer too), a hardened machined sear, the wide trigger, the sear lever or trigger bar, a relocation kit to give the same geometry as the GP Comp model (requires drilling the slide for installation), a safety, a mag well (the BHP feels great in the hand, but is a little short for some people, this adds about 1/4" to the length of the grip). I cannot install these parts because I am not mechanically inclined, but that is why I have a gunsmith. The relocation kit and mag well require drilling and/or welding for installation, that is probably beyond most peoples abilities.
