Briley Choke Tubes

Do you think the Brileys are better then choke tubes packaged by manufacturers? Specifically, I use Brileys on my Browning Citori White Lightening. After going to Browning's web site and seeing their new Water Fowler extended tubes, I'm considering trying them out. However, they're close to double the price of the Brileys. Any opinions?

i have used many of briley's products, i used to shoot competitvely in skeet for him, and endorse his products still. jess makes all the screw chokes out there, according to the buyers specs of course, but i always will recommend his chokes over anyone elses. he makes more of them and more importantly they work. his chokes throw the patterns they are supposed to and that's all i can ask.

I use a Briley extended comp choke in my Benelli M1 and like it very much. I just noticed on their website that Beretta is supplying Briley choke tubes in their special NWTF ( Nat'l Wild Turkey Fed.) model of the AL390 shotgun they are selling. Must be a good choke for Beretta to suply and aftermarket tube in a factory model gun.

I use Briley exended tubes in my Remingtons and Krieghoff. They seem to work better for me. I did some rudimentary patterning and they threw better patterns than the chokes that came with the guns. I find them easier and quicker to change when I have to. I also like the choke constriction marked on the outside of the tube which can be easily seen. Also they come in 10 different constrictions, easier to find the right choke for your gun.

Brileys are worth the price, for the Krieghoff they are cheaper than factory chokes. If you buy 6 a a time you only pay for 5. (I have a lot of chokes!)

There are other makes of aftermarket chokes but I stick with Brileys because they have worked for me.

I am no expert but I DO have an opinion.

I use them in my Nova. Love them. Check with Weatherby, Briley makes the chokes for their O/U.
