Breda Side X Side12 ga.- Need help!
I just purchased a Breda shotgun and when I took possesion of it I discovered that the extractor mechanism was missing. The extractor itself is actually there, but the can and spring is missing.
Any idea where I can get a replacement?

The gun is quite a nice piece of work, with a fully engraved nickle receiver, engraved blued trigger guard and portions of the blued barrels have the same treatment. The stock is light brown hardwood (not sure of the species), with heavy ripple effects and checkering on the grip and forend.
Any idea of the value of this gun, or any other info such as age?

The markings are vague, but it is S/N 187XX and the reciever is marked ACCIAIO BREDA SID. B.4C.

Thanx!

Acciaio Breda means Breda Steel...
SID. has to be an abbreviation for either "siderurgia" (a noun) or "siderurgica" (an adjective), which would indicate in the first case the type of steel, in the second case the steel mill or forge where it was produced. B. 4c is a mistery, but I think it refers to Brescia and a more specific location...

Brescia actually doesn't make sense, as Breda's factories were in the Milan area and Terni, just north of Rome...so the B. 4c is in fact a mystery
