BREAKING NEWS: INDUSTRY COUNTERSUIT #3

A response to my e-mail of support:

Thank you for your e-mail in support of our efforts to fight the politically motivated attacks on our industry - particularly for your offer to help.

The April 26th legal action is just one step in a long and expensive fight to protect our rights.  One way, you can help is contributing to the Hunting and Shooting Sports Heritage Fund.

By contributing today you will be helping to provide an aggressive and professional legal response to the grandstanding politicians that would rather see the hunting and shooting sports industry close its doors.

Click here www.hsshf.org to visit the Hunting and Shooting Sports Heritage Fund web site, where you will find additional information about our efforts to protect our hunting and shooting traditions.  Once there, click on How You Can Help to learn how you can get involved and to make a contribution.

Finally, don't forget to talk to your hunting and shooting buddies about making a contribution!!

Thanks again for your support.

Gentlemen,
The GOA has informed me that the Senate is considering attaching various anti-gun amendments and clauses to the upcoming "Education Bill".
Our Republicans are being typicaly soft-spined. We need to tell them again to quit selling us out. We need to contact them now about the counter suit and this aproaching bill.
The Senate switchboard is at 202-224-3121.
Additionaly, you can go to www.nraila.org to contact your own reps via e-mail.
Also you can go to www.gunowners.org to use their system to contact our beloved rulers.
Silence is death.

I would like also to express my great gratitude to those who are donating, voicing their veiws and fighting the good fight.

Sorry Shin-Tao, was out last night and shooting today. Just saw the post! I sent emails to Pitts, Santorum and Specter. They're congressmen from PA.

If you're from PA, click HERE to write to Santorum and Specter. Pitts is the rep for my district.

ArmySon, it looks like they'll be getting mail from me too. I sent mine out on Thursday.

They say "don't mess with Texas," but PA isn't a slacker state either.

Because of the great volume of E-mail Senators and Congressmen receive, they do not personally read each one. Aides go through the E-mail and give the Senator/Congressman a summary of the population's attitude and main concerns.
More attention is paid to physical snail-mail. So the best thing to do is compose a letter in E-mail and physical form, and send both. This has the best chance of registering on the Politico's brain.
I've posted this link somewhere else too, but redundacy is glorious(Look at the A10 Warthog)!
www.gunowners.org has a good format to let you write your own letter for printing and then sending snail-mail.

Give them both barrels, it's therapeutic and constructive.

Again, thank you all very much for acting. It's Patriotism in action.
