Bravo Company upper experiences?

Mine has been good so far. I haven't had a chance to put a lot of rds down field yet but im confident it will perform well. I started a thread a little while ago and all the replies I got were nothing but good.

My 14.5" BCM middy is a garbage disposal for ammo. If I can load it into a mag, my BCM shoots it with more than respectable accuracy. BCM makes great uppers.

Got one, love it- shoots reliably and accurately. If I were looking for another upper, they'd be the first place I'd go.

As for fit and finish, different lowers will fit the thing differently. Mine sits on a CMMG lower, and it is loose enough to open easily but tight enough so it doesn't wobble horribly. For the color, I just don't pay attention to it. It may be a shade darker than the lower, but unless I'm going for some particular look I don't really care. If I am picky, I just Duracoat it and forget it.

I own two BCM uppers, one BCM lower, and a LMT lower. All match fit and finish perfectly. They're both excellent, in accuracy and reliability. You can't go wrong with BCM. Play in between the 18" and the LMT lower isn't so much. Play between the 14.5" and BCM upper is worse, but if it bothers you that bad you can always put an accuwedge in it.

I have one of their 16" offerings. Fits like a glove, runs like a sewing machine, and reliable to boot. Nothing not to like about BCM.

My 14.5" LW Midlength short stroked like crazy on steel case ammo at first. I switched to XM193 for a couple hundred rounds to break it in, and now it runs everything fine.

The 14.5 middy specifically states that it might be picky with ammo (i thought).

I have a 14.5 LW profile carbine that has been awesome. Accurate and reliable.

Yes the 14.5 as well as all BCM products have a mil-spec gas port .062 which wont utilize low pressurized rounds such as wolf (Thats the only steel ammo i've tried) and i got short strokes as well. But i just buy overruns of XM855 and DRS or SWA match depending on what i want to shoot.

I believe it did mention something about how the mids were soft shooting just make sure you feed them good ammo. I can't find that statement now on their new site but i do remember seeing it.

I know steel ammo is cheap but i dislike the idea of lacquer coating gumming up the chamber. Also i do fall slightly in the category of "buy a Lambo use good oil" type deal. In other words i like running brass.
