....it can be used to answer questions for other brass.

Just wanted to share a test I completed for the Reloading Podcast on different .308 Win brass out there. For the match shooters that sort brass by weight instead of by case capacity, might want to take a look at it.

Either way, here a link to the test:

Nice. Thanks for sharing I typically use lc, I do have some prvi brass which appears to be pretty good. My guess (purely a guess) would be better than domestic but certainly not as good as lapua or Norma.

I'd like to look at your results but I refuse to be apart of anything Facebook . Is there another way for me to see your results that does not involve Facebook :)

I'd have to figure out a way. A friend of mine posted that for me.

About the only other way would be to email it that I can think of.

Thanks for the link . What am I looking at there ? Standard deviations ??? If so from what control sample ? Are all these cases new virgin brass ?? If so then yea there are some issues there . I'd think some of those would have been more consistent for sure .

Just overall information for folks to use as they please/see fit.

The sample size was 25 cases. Most the manufactures sent me more, so what I did in turn was, take all the cases sent to me, poured them on the floor, and just picked 25 cases at random. Several manufactures sent me only 25, because well, I asked for only 25-50, because I know some of this brass is expensive and I didn't want to be greedy. Lol. So 25 cases is what I went with, since the was the minimum some sent me.

They were all new virgin brass. The only measurement I took that wasn't new virgin brass, was the case capacity after being fired.

I plan to continue the test as well, to see how many firings I can get from each case. Then I'll average out the number for the overall average for the manufactures.

I really wish I could have done 100 cases of each manufacture, but didn't want to sound greedy when asking, plus, I just don't have the funds right now for all the primers, powder and bullets to test shoot 900 rounds. The podcast is a volunteer thing I do, and I'm a disabled veteran, stay at home dad.
