Brass Front Sight Removal

I need some help. I have to hot blue a H&R top break .22 Expert, which is the long bbl version of their 22 special. The front sight is the old style half moon, brass. Does anyone have any experience in removing that sight? Is it soldered in, or just press fit? Any help would be much appreciated.

Sir:
Alot of those were in a shallow slot in the bbl. And they were soldered in I believe. Heat it slightly and pull it out being careful not to mar it.
