Brass choice

Haven't used Silver State cases, Federal is my case. They are thicker hen most so lower your charge by 1grain then listed in load book. Im a benchrest shooter 308 caliber. Rem 700 keep my headspace at .001 get 25+ reloads. Hope I helped

I haven't used Silver State brass, so I'd probably pass on that.

FC match would depend upon on how it's stamped.
If it's "FC" brass, the price would have to be unbeatable.
If it's stamped "LC", then I'd be much more inclined to take it.

Federal premium (LC)

Federal premium (LC)
That is a contradiction in terms.
Federal is a private company owned by Vista Outdoors, Inc. Same company owns Alliant, CCI, RCBS, Speer and Savage, to name a couple.

LC is the U.S. Army Lake City Army Ammunition plant.

They make the 7.62 NATO cartridge, with LC and the Year(yy) and Nato Cross-circle.
LC is operated on a contract basis by Alliant/ATK. It has been operated by other maker ammunition makers in the years since WWII.

Federal is owned by the same parent company, but does not own or even operate LCAAP. Federal may obtain LC brass, and load it commercially. Regular Federal brass is softer than LC, and the proportion of Zinc and copper is different. LC is made with cartridge brass. Federal is made with low brass.

To answer your question, if the brass says LC on the flat end, it is better brass than Federal head-stamped brass. You should not confuse, nor mix, the two. They are different.
No two kinds of 308/7.62 brass should be mixed while reloading because there is a lot of variation in 308/7.62 weights and capacities than, for example, 5.56/223 which has relative low variations between brands.

Silver State Armory is a No$ler brand name. Federal commercial brass is known for being softer than other brands. Just means it doesn't last as long. Doesn't really make much difference which brand of brass you use for most applications.

300 Blackout is a typically subsonic 30 Cal load in cut down 556 brass for use in AR type guns.
It is not a bolt gun cartridge.
I don't think LC? 556? Or Fed premium are going to matter.
Not 7.62 NATO brass.

I have a .300 black out 700 sps. What does it excel at? Nothing. It has a muzzle brake and is fun for my 6 year old to shoot. Other than that, its worthless as mammaries on a boar hog.
