Just moved to Washington State from California. First firearm purchase in my new state gets denied.
Have a conviction for petty theft only. My record shows "conviction: set -aside/dismissed" on two other counts that were not guilty. As well, the record shows two arrests but they were for the same crime. First jury was hung,
so I was re-arrested and tried again on three counts that time and one stuck.
If there are any Attorneys out there I sure could use some help on where to go from here.
I served 10 days(max sentence 6 mos.) not 2yrs.
