Brady campaign still going?

Just was looking on information on HR 5013 (Katrina bill), and found the Brady web site. It is full of innaccurate information, and is totally opposite than my beliefs. It made me so angry, I still can't believe people are not getting it. Criminals kill people, not law abiding citizens!

Just wanted to get out some frustration.
 
Vent away, then go visit the VPC web site. It's just as wierd. After the two, you'll have no emotions left after you stop screaming, and will be at peace with the world for at least 20 minutes.:)

Where in the world did you get the idea that these people have any sense? Most of the early anti-gunners were formerly prohibitionists. You can see where that got the country. The same philosophy is being applied to guns. There are people who just KNOW that, if you listen to them, everything bad will go away.

Years ago, they were derided as Snake Oil Salesmen. Today, they've devolved into cretins that make those benighted souls look like paragons of virtue. :mad:
 
I figured out how to not get mad at them. If you bang your head on something really had till you pass out, and you do that all the time for a month youll understand their thinking. :D
They are stupid, there is nothing you cna do with stupid people that wont get you thrown in jail.:mad:
 
This is what the Brady's and the Brady Bill isall about, Smoke and Mirrors. Kind of like Bill Clintons presidency, none of them could tell the truth to save their lives....hpg

The thought of America becoming Socialist sends chills down my spines. =(
 
As much as I'd like to believe that Sarah Brady is that evil and that her gun control ideology is only a diversion, she didn't say it.

I AM a Conservative (not necessarily a Republican), and I like to be careful NOt to emulate the tactics of the Left. The stuff you find on the Brady site is scary enough all by itself without attributing that to her.

And I am sorry to say that our X mayor of Fort Wayne has become the new president of the brady bunch.
He tried to start crap here and make Fort Wayne like Chicago and we booted him out of office. I won’t mention his name because I can’t stand the bad taste in my mouth saying his name.
We as gun toting Americans HAVE to find a way to show the rest of the country what the brady bunch really wants.

They have an irrational hatred of firearms. They will never "get it". Innocent people could be getting hacked up in the streets by machettes and they'd brag about how much safer the world is because those people weren't getting killed by firearms. They don't care about fact and figures and the actual effects of gun control on the crime rate, and will outright twist those things around to serve their point of view. They only care about removing guns from the hands of law abiding citizens and there's no reasoning with them.

#$&* them. There's no point in letting them get under your skin, because there's no hope for them. You'd have a better chance convincing the Klan to celebrate diversity than you will convincing the likes of the Brady Campaign, the Dozen Mommy March or the VPC to get over their hatred of firearms. Your time is better spent spreading the truth about responsable gun ownership to those who might otherwise fall victim to the anti-gun propaganda they preach.

I was under the impression that Sara was battling lung cancer caused by smoking. She should mount a campaign to stamp out evil Joe Camel and leave us firearm owners alone.
 
I stumbled upon that website about two weeks ago and my reaction was much the same as yours...complete and utter disbelief and anger. Since then I have begun sending emails to them asking them to verify their sources and to rethink they wayward ideals. I wonder what they believe allows the the freedom to espouse their jaded views...I reckon they don't realize it is people with guns now and more importantly common citizens with guns 230 years ago that allow them such freedom.

I mean really, look at the situation:

- we got protection from frivolous lawsuits, even ones that were in progress or pending

- we got Castle Doctrine extension to "anywhere we have a legal right to be"

- we've got what, 40 or so shall-issue right-to-carry states

- we got sunset of the abomination that was the "Assault Weapons Ban"


What have those dumbXXXes won, lately?
They have good reason to be chewing their nails and crapping their pants. Lots of people are understanding that their b.s. mantras of "ban the guns and crime will drop" were utterly bankrupt both intellectually and practically.

I am in Phoenix, and I find recent events with the shooters here resulting in massive gun purchases. It's funny how it takes something like this to wake people up. My solice is that these people who never thought they would need a gun, now know they live in a country that they are free to defend themselves.
