H Hawg New member Aug 14, 2015 #2 Navy isn't a factory they're an importer. If the gun was made in Italy there will be a date code consisting of two letters in a box or Roman numerals. It will most likely be on the underside of the barrels. Serial numbers mean nothing on these guns.
