Boy Scouts....

I went to my local Gander Mountain today to pick up some CLP, and a few other things. A local Boy Scout troop was in the entrance of the store selling raffle tickets for a very nice Rem 870, and a SR9c. I thought THERE IS STILL HOPE....I don't care if i win either of those guns, i already got my moneys worth just seeing that, and being able to participate in it...Made my day, just thought i would share some good news...the anti-gun folks haven't got to the Boy Scouts yet......GOD BLESS AMERICA..

My 7yr old G-Son just came over and was so proud he got his Cub Scout badges for shooting a bb gun and bow.

Papa was so proud of him, papa took G-Son out to shoot the .22 as a reward.

No longer a fan of the scouts. They did teach me a bit about guns though.

The Boy Scouts ain't what they used ta was. My wife and I attended an Eagle Scout investiture (or whatever it's called) a couple of years ago. VERY disappointing. Neither the scouts nor the scout masters had any idea what "uniform" meant.

My sons in boy scouts, sure it isnt like it was in 1966 but them kids are learning important stuff.

They did a survival campout, slept under the stars kinda thing. Had to build afire from scratch etc. They cook their own food after buying it, (learn a budget).

They get awards for being in class A's. He shoots well too. I'm all for scouts. it makes better men IMHO.


Course my nephew got all that from boot camp when he went into the marines

Just a heads up. Calling people Nazis (I edited) isn't really appropriate. We have folks who fought the Nazis and families killed by real Nazis.

Calling antigunners Nazis is as useful as antigunners calling conservative gun owners Fascists.
