Good day at the gun show!

After FINALLY convincing my wife, with the help of about 20 vendors, that her first carry piece should be a revolver, we found her a nice piece that most importantly, SHE likes.

Picked her up a stainless S&W J-frame model 60-7 Chief's Special Lady Smith .38sp. with Houge grips and a trigger job that makes the action as smooth as butter. It also still had the original "lady Smith" soft case, my wife loves it...very girly.

And for the record I do not care it says lady smith, I am going to shoot the hell out of this gun!

I traded in my Kel Tec P32 (partial trade) for it. I did not like the thought of my wife having an autoloader in her purse if the **** hit the fan.

Anyway...she loves the grips (small hands) and the trigger job is just icing on the cake for her. She can't wait to shoot it.

If anyone has any experiences with this model please share...this is our 1st Smith and Wesson revolver!

Don't have any personal experiences with that model, but it sure sounds like you made a very nice acquisition! Good luck, good shooting, and stay safe!

Good choice as long as she has the hand strength to work the DA trigger effectively (like not pulling the muzzle off target straining to get the trigger back). My wife hates revolvers. Guess opposites do attract.

BTW- i before e

I was worried about the double action trigger pull as well, that is why I was pleasantly surprised that the little revolver had had a trigger job done by the vendor who was selling it.

Before I bought it he let me dry fire one without a trigger job and it was much heavier.

The one that I bought for my wife pulls as smooth as butter, he lightened it up quite a bit, really feels good, better than my gp100!
