I ran across a Sako M995 today (.300 Win. Mag.) with a Swarovski 3x10x42 Habicht on Sako Optilock mounts and couldn't resist. Story is that this rifle was shot to sight in only and otherwise is brand new. Came with 4 boxes (less the 9 rounds supposedly used for sight-in) of Remington Safari Grade 200 gr. Swift A-Frame Pointed Soft Pt. (all with the same lot #.) Paid $1000 even and everything looks brand new. This rifle looks to be the same thing as a Sako TRG-S which I believe goes for around $570. If I am figuring correctly, the scope and mounts are worth about $800 new so I think I am in good shape. Any comments (good or bad) on this set-up would be appreciated I am looking forward to trying it out at the range this weekend. Thanks!
