Bought a P228-How'd I do?

Picked up a W.German marked P228 today.2-13 round mags and night sights.Has some holster wear but otherwise seems in real nice cond.
Paid 500 out the door.Did I get taken?I guess it's too late to worry about price now but just wondered what the going rate was.I love the trigger on it.How do you 228 owners like yours?Thanks

Look at the front of the slide on the bottom and look for the proof dates - two capital letters and go here to find when it was proofed:

The "Bluebook of Gun Values" has the following:
100% - $675
98% - $575
95% - $500
90% - $425
Add $95 for Siglite factory night sights - not aftermarket.

You did good. I bought a P228 without nightsights for 500$ with the 13 round magazines as well.

I'd say you did very well, especially if "out the door" includes taxes, NICS check, etc. And you got a fine pistol for your money to boot.
