The MK9 recoil spring is too havy hard to pull the slide back to chamber a round from a full mag.Any body ever used a Wolff 18.5 lp sprig with this gun? Joe.

I had a MK9 Elite which I should had never, ever, no matter what sold, but anyways........I found that loading the mag with one round and chambering it, then top off the mag is the way to go, mine was really stiff also. When the mag springs break in, they will go in easier. If you dont carry with one in the pipe, try it with 1 less round than it will hold, and see if that is easier.
 
I called Kahr they sad it is ok to use Wolff 18.5lp spring.They will send me a free lighter recoil spring. Joe
