Bore scope use

I have never used a "Non-Lazer" bore scope. I'm thinking of purchasing one of these units for sighting in scopes.

What has me baffled is, does the bore scope unit that is attached to the barrel have a vertical adjustment for height so as to align it with the scope?

I have searched for this answer to no avail.

Read your manual !!

I own and use four bore scopes of which one is a lazer. All have their particular application.

And your question baffles me as well. In short, my non-lazer types have no such adjustment, nor should they as they are already calibrated and set.

After you properly installing your bore-slighter, align your scope's "reticles" to the internal matrix or cross-hatch pattern of the bore-scope. Just follow the instructions. .... ;)

Also, keep in mind that this is just an aid and gets you in the ball-park. I have seen some very good results but you need the Range-Time as a final confirmation. .... ;)

Be Safe !!!
