Bore guide for FAL

I would post this on the FALFiles, but their server is apparently on the fritz again.

Hmmm. I wonder if 'on the fritz' could be construed, in this oversensitive PC age, as anti-german? Just a thought. Wouldn't do to upset the jerries.

What bore guides work well with a FAL?

Coronach, I don't think you're getting any responses because no one uses a boreguide for their FAL...at least I don't. Of all my rifles, that's the only rifle besides my AK that DOESN'T get a bore guide. I'm not sure why, except that the barrels aren't new when you get them, and the rifles aren't expected to shoot like a target rifle anyway. I just don't think people take the time with them.

Also hoping for advise. I'm thinking about a new medium contour barrel and floating handguard for my STG. Would like ot treat it right.

Thats kinda what I figured. FALs are only supposed to shoot minute of bad-guy anyway, I suppose...

I use a SIG 510 cleaning kit. Works nicely.

The bore guides are incorporated on the cleaning rods.
