Bore Cleaner....Wipe out's - No Lead

I bought some Wipe Out - No lead to bore clean my .22s. It is a two part component that you use once mixed. The patches come out brown a similar as if you were cleaning rust. The directions talk about cleaning till the patches are milky white. Is this actually oxidized carbon steel or is this what occurs when the lead is broken down? I emailed the manufacturer almost two months ago asking them but they have not taken the time to reply to date. Their website does mention anything about color of the patches when dirty only what they are to look like when clean. Any information would be appreciated.

I personally know nothing about this product but I would worry that an oxidizer strong enough to turn lead oxide (whitish colored) into lead tetra oxide (strong reddish brown color) could be pretty rough on unlined bores. Just to be clear, I'm not a gunsmith or a chemist, I could easily be wrong about this. Sorry that nobody more knowledgeable has replied.
