I have a pair of Butler Creek's on my M12, and Uncle Mike's on my 442, so I am familiar with them. Do you favor them for CCW, or general shooting? Do any of you find that they provide better recoil control for follow-up shots?
On the K-frame, I 'can' get my lower three fingers onto the front; but, it really is much more comfortable to place my little finger up under base of the grip. This is how I have to do it with the smaller J-frame. Does such 'bracing' have any benefit in retarding the rearward arc of the gun as it recoils, or is it my imagination?
