I am looking at purchasing the new Bond Arms Ranger 2. Has anyone shot one of these. It will not be my primary carry gun. It will be more of a backup to my SP101 357 and just a gun to have a little fun with. Let me know if you have any experience with this gun. I like it because it comes with a "4.25 barrel and the black bad driving holster.

I'm subscribing because I'm building my Bond Snakeslayer fund right now. Something about a double barrel shotgun in my pocket on desert ATV trips makes sense.

My brother bought my farther the Snake slayer because he hates snakes. 45 long colt and 410 i think it was. fun gun to shoot

In my personal opinion I wouldn't fire those out a snake slayer. Plus its a 4" barrel and meant for up close why would you need +P ammo.

I wrote them, and hot .45s are out. Standard loads are the only safe ones, as the barrel blanks are the same diameter. The Bond Arms are the best derringers out there, but they are derringers. They are hard to cock, and the barrels are't regulated. They hit to different point of aim. Anything smaller than .45 are approved for +p, though. It's a chamber thickness issue. The 10mm looks particularly appetizing at that suggestion. The 10mms are available for that derringer at full pressure. I'd suggest getting a texas derringer and ordering a longer barrel set at full length.
