Hi All,
I'm new to this forum but have been shooting and reloading for some time. I Just bought a new Tikka T3 lite in 243 win. I love this rifle. I Shot 1 1/4 groups right out of the box with three brands of factory ammo and no trigger time on this gun. I bought some different brands of ammo with the gun and the Remington Federal and hornady all chamber and shoot fine. The PPC ammo chambers but you have to lean on the bolt a little. Is it ok to shoot this or should I pass on it. I checked the OAL and its fine so thats not where the problem lies.

Take a close look at the neck, shoulder, and base of the suspect rounds.

It isn't uncommon for factory ammo to have issues.

A few years back, I had some FC .243 Win ammo that had the shoulder 0.080" too far forward. That doesn't sound like much, but when the general idea of safe head space is 0.008"... having cases over max length by ten times the standard head space tolerance, is a pretty significant error.

Don't shoot them, until you figure out what the problem is.
(Base too large; body swollen; neck too thick; bullet jamming into lands; bad head space dimension; etc)
