Boies may be in trouble with the Bar

Jack Thompson, Florida attorney and contributor to Newsmax.com, has filed a bar complaint in New York against David Boies, Gore's lead attorney, for filing a false statement, and allowing a false affidavit to be filed with the Florida Supreme Court. The statement concerns the decision in the Illinois case Boies cited in his brief and the affidavit was filed by a person involved in that Illinois case. Thompson also contends that Boies' misconduct includes not returning to the Supreme Court and correcting the falsehood when personally called on it by Thompson.

Let 'em all self-destruct.
 
This is a refreshing bit of news. It's becoming cystal clear that the democrats operate above the law (or at least the think they're entitled to). Although this won't bring down Algore, I would love to see this bite his lawyer buddy square on the butt. John, can you supply us with a source so we can spread the word?

This is apparently big news in Springfield this morning because of the connections to Chicago. The story I've gotten so far is that Boies called a law expert about the case--who had happened to be an attorney on it as well--at midnight. He then said something like "Hey, sorry to wake you up, I just need to check a fact. In that case awhile back, the court ruled in favor of counting dimpled ballots, right?"

The other attorney agreed, but when he woke up in the morning and checked his records, he called back to tell Boies that he had been wrong and the court did NOT approve the counting of dimples. Boies told the Florida court the opposite anyway.

He probably expected the Democrats to do their part and create enough votes if he got the dimples included. Since he didn't, things dragged out and he's been left exposed. If the election were over now, having gone Gore's way, no one would pay any attention to this. It would be a small fine at most.

They now have an article about Thompson sending a letter to the Florida Supremes regarding Boies' unethical, illegal activities and urging them to revoke his temporary license to practice law in Florida, where he has not been admitted to the Bar.

But NOTHING from the big media. Why would they not want to report that the most important precedent used in Boies' case before the Florida Supreme Court, and which the Court quoted prominently in its decision, in fact went the other way?

The best face of this is that Boies was incompetent, and committed legal malpractice, by failing to verify one of the most important facts of his case. The worst face of this is that it is perjury.

Oh, wait, we don't punish important people for perjury any more, do we?
 
Don't expect anything to come from this. The Bar is controlled by liberal democrats who will gloss this over or chalk it up to innocent inadvertence. In actuallity, it was suborning perjury.

I hate lawyers. Why, oh why, did I waste money on law school rather than just buying more guns and ammo?
 
They oughta put him in the penitentiary...

with some of his underprivileged "constituents" where he can become a whore in fact for them rather than just a whore in principle.

Mr. Boies was the lead prosecutor in the Microsoft case. Janet Reno thinks he is great. We've been subsidizing this $600 per hour ambulance chaser for some time.
 
They're only doing this to him because he's black .......................He's not black ? .......................................Oh ..................................................Well , have Jesse Jackson say it then ............................They'll believe him .
 
A fair-minded court would have checked out the facts of the Illinois case themselves rather than rely on the complainent lawyer's statements as being the "true facts". A fair-minded court would at least have held him in contempt.
