Bodyguard

Does anyone know if the S&W Bodyguard (presently the M-649) ever came in a 9mm variation?

I know the Centennial did, but don't recall ever seeing a Bodyguard in this chambering.

To the best of my knowledge, no.

The 940 was a hammerless version....

Beware the man with the S&W .357 Mag.
Chances are he knows how to use it.

I don't think so either. I've seen the centennial, but never the bodyguard. Don't recall seeing the chief's special either. I believe the Ruger SP101 comes in 9mm, though.

The Bodyguard was not made in 9mm. You have the 940 Centennial and a weirdo (547 I think) that did not use moon clips, but had an unusual extraction system. It didn't last long. The 940 is a winner. So is the model 38. Too bad they never got together.

Get your 1911s and AR15s while you still can!

However, it would be pretty simple (if not inexpensive) to put a 9mm cylinder on a Bodyguard.
That would at least shoot.

The best choice would be to also fit a 9mm barrel so that little .355" slug doesn't rattle down the .357" bore of the .38/357.

But, it would cost!
