Boberg - Bond Arms???

I recall reading that Bond Arms was going to start making Boberg's XR9-s and XR45 pistols, I think beginning last March. Does anyone know whatever happened to this? We're getting ready to start 2017 and I haven't heard nor seen a thing from Bond Arms about making or selling these pistols.
 
The most current update I've seen is in the link below, click onto the you-tube video. The owner of Bond Arms explains how many they are producing, improvements made, and future prices. Sounds like they are proceeding forward with a good plan. Watch the entire video, it's pretty informative.

I got my Boberg XR-9s when it first came out in 2012. It has a 3 diget serial nr. I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable guns I had followed and bought. The web community/family http://www.bobergarms.com/ was a direct line to the owner/designer Arne. A group of us would put in ideals and opinions. Mine did make 1 trip back to the factory. While back I had a short pull trigger installed.
I regret not getting the 45.

What is nice is that Bond Arms has made improvements and awesome wood grips.

I rate this pistol up there with my Semmerling LM4 in my collection.

I watched the video - very informative. Interesting improvement with the electroless nickel coating on the barrel and locking block in place of the grease. I have to wonder why they would use nickel and not hard chrome. What happens when the nickel wears? Or, is it really just there during the break-in period and once the gun is broken in the parts smooth out a little. Love the rosewood grips!
 
I was fondling my Boberg XR-S. It is such a beautiful work of engineering art. Next year a Heizer PKO 45 will be in my collection when it comes out.:D
 
Notice heizers promotional video features someone wearing shooting gloves. I assume a pro shooter also. I think I will steer clear of the 45 ACP mini-micro.

It will be interesting to see if any of these companies ever depart from the traditional form of a pistol.
 
No price on the website for the PKO 45. Looks interesting, would like to do a side-by-side recoil comparison of it and the Boberg 45. I have shot the Boberg 45 and it was a pretty sweet compact package, very controllable.

If Bond comes out with the 45 under $1K, that would be a must have.
 
I would be strongly interested in a 9mm Bullpup if it could handle the occasional +P load for carry purposes. I would guess that they went with the nickel over hard chrome because of cost, and how many shooters are going to run thousands of rounds through one anyway (beside members of this forum).

Corrosion resistance and reaction to solvents also comes into play.
