blowing the dust off an old friend...

bought this old beauty back in 1996. It's a 12g/30" Lightning Sporting Clays Edition with hi-post rib. It's a great gun for all three sports; skeet, sporting and trap. I have a friend who wants to buy it, but now I'm reluctant to sell. It's the second target gun I bought, right after my Browning B325. Damn...

You are as big a Browning slut as BigJim!........:D

Good guns - if you aren't shooting them and they hold no sentimental value, make room for something new

I have an almost impossible time selling any gun...

I'd keep them awhile longer if I were you.....unless you really need the money for some reason ..../ pass them down to the kids - or grandkids maybe ...??

I used to be that way, but not anymore. The gun above weighs 8.6 pounds. My 12 gauge B325 weighs 7.10 pounds. Big difference. Anyway, I shoot 20's 90% of the time. Just this morning I received a valid offer on the 12 gauge Lightning Sporter. It goes... ;)

As long as you don't regret selling it ....I hope you have some fun looking for the gun to replace it with.

I'm heading to my club today ...with a 28ga and my .410 ....so I understand not wanting to shoot 12ga's all the time...

I may replace it with a new CG Summit Sporting 20g/32". Or, I may just keep the proceeds in the bank and jump on a new B725 Sporter (but, in 20 gauge) when Browning announces them, and you know they're coming.

Been selling a few guns lately and have a few greenbacks in my piggy bank!!

I don't mind the holes, it's those funny things sticking out of the barrels that bothers me. Are they mandated by the CPSC, the EPA or what?

SSSSHHHHHH - those are prescription chokes - assigned by our eye doctors because we can't see the damn notches on the flush mount ones...........besides, I do not like looking DOWN a barrel to count notches

I thought those thigies sticking out of the barrels were to hold my bayonet? If I can't break a clay with shot I can stab it.
