Blowing Smoke: Schwarzenegger Critical of McCain for Supporting Off-Shore Drilling

With California the state that is currently worst hit by high gas prices, you would think that the governor of that state would be supportive of more drilling.

But no, he is firmly against it. And says that those who do support it are simply: "Blowing Smoke".

I wonder if the citizens of California support Governor Schwarzenegger's views? Many Californian's are spending a small fortune on gas these days.

Is he perhaps pandering to the various environmental lobbyist groups??

I guess he isn't taking into account that the couple of cents per gallon in 25 years time will really help him at the pump.
