Just got back from a quick spotlighting trip on a prop just out of town
The mission was to blood the Blaser on any pesky varmint we might see, this time 2 weeks ago I'd got home from a disappointing wild dog hunt, Tonight had to be different
First thing we saw was a hare 150m away running over the hill, to fast for me
Next we check the back paddocks, past a few wallaby's and got to the last paddock on the block and saw what we've never seen on this farm before, looked just like what was in those http://www.temporaryhappiness.com/ videos that left an impression on me years back, the Fox stood still and let me squeeze of a 40gr BT from my .222 R93 barrel into his chest
He dropped on the spot
Search a bit more for another 1/2hr and bagged 3 hares
Sunny side up as the cocky says lol
All kills were bang flops (if that wasn't obvious) my new Elite 6500 2.5-16x42 scope was a pleasure to use & I'm all round very satisfied with the scope/rifle/ammo combination
