Aluminum is rarely coated, the oxidation of aluminum forms a very thin layer very rapidly, the layer of oxidation is left to protect the metal, its not steel that rusts through. I don't know if blazer is coated in any way but if its not, i wouldn;t worry about it. I do wonder though if you could recycle those things when you take you aluminum cans in.
