Blazer Brass vs Win white box

Went to my local Wally World today, they had Blazer Brass for 2 dollars cheaper than the Win white box which I normally get. Any input as to which is better or are they about the same.

What ammunition are you looking at?

I have found some of the CCI Blazer ammunition to be a bit anemic compared to the Winchester white box. I prefer brass to alumimum as well.

Blazer Brass uses brass cases.

They're both good ammo. In fact, I just shot a box of Blazer Brass and a box of Blazer aluminum this weekend and didn't have a single problem. This is my first box of Blazer Brass but I've got friends that shoot Blazer Brass without any problem. I've shot a few boxes of Blazer aluminum in the past and have never had a jam in any of my guns. I have been shooting a bunch of Winchester white box but may switch over to Blazer Brass since they're $1 cheaper per box for 9mm. My guns don't seem to be finicky with quality factory ammo (Kahr MK9, CZ Rami and Beretta 92FS).

I run Blazer Brass for practice, training, and IPSC/IDPA. It's a lot cleaner than WWB in my 1911's. I did recently get a box that had multiple FTF's in my super-tight Wilsons but ran fine in a looser gun. Other than that one problem, I've probably shot well over 10,000 rounds of it and it's quite suitable for those purposes.

It's the cheapest hardball at the Wal-Marts in my area, too.

Using a Glock or SW 1911 - I haven't had problems with Blazer Brass, Al or WWB.

I've used Blaz-Brass in .45 acp quite a bit, from Wal *Mart. Good stuff...

Blazer brass is good in a pistol, in a revolver, I have more recoil
bullet pulling from the Blazer than the WWB; but, both have pulling.

I've had bullet setback issues with Blazer Brass in .45 ACP after 3-4 chamberings. No such probelms from WWB.

I prefer BB and try to snap up the remaining boxes in the case before finishing up with WWB.

I too have discovered that Blazer Brass shoots a tad cleaner than Win. White Box ammo, but I make my purchases based on cost.

Right now the WWB is slight cheaper (in my neck of the woods) than BB if you stick to buying 100 rounds at a time.

I have experience only with .38 special, and in that caliber I definitely prefer WWB. It is loaded noticeably hotter the Blazer Brass and the added recoil makes it more fun to shoot. I have not noticed an accuracy difference but WWB seems to be cleaner.

I've always found Winchester white box and Wolf to burn dirtier than Blazer. If Blazer is less expensive, save money and time cleaning. Go with Blazer for target shooting as neither out performs the other for that purpose.

I always go with the WWB but at my Wallmart the only other choice is UMC. They do have some blazer but none in my caliber.
