"Blast from the Past"!

As for the gun haters and their `laws' I offer the following quote:

"If gun laws in fact worked, the sponsors of this type of legislation should have no
difficulty drawing upon long lists of examples of crime rates reduced by such legislation.

That they cannot do so after a century and a half of trying--that they must sweep under the
rug the southern attempts at gun control in the 1870-1910 period, the northeastern
attempts in the 1920-1939 period, the attempts at both Federal and State levels in
1965-1976--establishes the repeated, complete and inevitable failure of gun laws to
control serious crime." Orrin Hatch, 1982 Senate Report
---------------------
This quote was from a time in Senator Hatch's
life when being Republican meant something.

Like many other Republicans, he now leans the way the current anti self defense wind blows. I now have reservations about
Senator Hatch.

One of my reasons for posting this quote, aside from the fact that i think it is really "cool", is that I also think that it would
be" well done" to include this quote in any and all correspondence to your legislaturers,
Senators and CongressCritters. So, feel free to copy & paste.

In 2000, we must become
politically active
in support of gun rights
or we WILL LOSE the right
& the freedom.

NO FATE BUT WHAT WE MAKE!!!

Every year, over 2 million Americans use firearms
to preserve life,limb & family.Gun Control Democrats
would prefer that they are all disarmed and helpless and die, instead.
