Blaser

Thinking of trading my Reminton 8mm classic towards a Blaser. I am considering 8x68s , 300 Ultra Mag, or 300 Weatherby. I dont have any exsperiance with the Blaser, like idea of interchangeable barrels. Any opionions?

Outstanding rifles with great workmanship and the best production trigger available. The action is faster than fast. Interchangeability of barrels and actions is a great feature. The radial locking mechanism is bomb proof. The cocking mechanism is fool proof. Only drawbacks, for some, are the limited mag capacity, the lack of a full claw extractor, the fact that it's a push feed and the non-standard manual of arms.

I own their R93 model Tactical: My experience with it's precision after breakdown and reassembly: http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=45927

For you Scout fans:
How 'bout a Blaser in .338 fitted with a QD Scout Scope foward. This detached, the stock Blaser scope mount can be installed with conventional scope.

Ashley Emerson is building mine in TX even as we speak!

You have to try that trigger to believe how good it is. I also like the straight pull action. I doubt you can go wrong with a Blaser. Excellent off the shelf rifle.

I own an Ultimate (takedown) in .270 Win. Terrific accuracy. Fine trigger, excellent workmanship. I prefer the Ultimate or R84 to the R93 with its collet bolt lugs. Any Blaser, including the single shot, would be a fine rifle to own.
