Since I got the referral from this forum, thought I'd update you guys on the Blackwater Training Center. Overall, it was a great experience. I took the 3 day tactical pistol course and couldn't believe how much it helped (concealed draw with 1 center mass shot in 3 seconds is now 1.5 sec with 2 to the body, 1 to the head with 90% hit ratio). Fascilities were awesome (moving targets, simulated town, 7 ranges). Instructors were mainly ex-SEAL's but also had SWAT guys but all were more than qualified, nice and friendy. Accomodations were clean and nice but nothing fancy. If you get the chance, I highly reccomend them.

Blunder, thanks for the info. I live in NC and have been thinking about taking a course there. Tomorrow I'm going to Fayetteville to take a John Farnam handgun class. I can't wait. I'll post a report when I get back. Later, Byerly
